Wesley "Wes" Gregg

Wesley “Wes” Gregg, 21, of Galesburg, passed away at home on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Wes was born on May 7, 2001 in Galesburg. He was the son of Steven and Jennifer (Underwood) Gregg. He is survived by his parents, Steven of Galesburg and Jennifer of Gilson; sister, Cassidy (Trevor Davis) Underwood of Galesburg; a niece, Rosella Cook and nephew, Jackson Davis; maternal grandparents, Cindy Allen of Michigan and Jon Underwood of Galesburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his best friend and gaming buddy, Nolan. Wes was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Phyllis “JoAnn” Gregg.

Wes was a 2019 graduate of Galesburg High School. He enjoyed going fishing with his dad, cooking, and attending family cookouts. He ate ketchup on everything. Most of all, he loved video games, especially Destiny 2, Fortnite and Minecraft and all things Marvel, from movies to comic books. His smile and kind nature will be missed by those that loved him.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family burial of cremated remains will be held on a later date. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory, Knoxville are assisting the family with arrangements.
