Teresa Kay Casteel, age 59, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 9:40 A.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at her home in Galesburg, Illinois She was born on July 26, 1956 in Anchorage, Alaska the daughter of Donald and Ila Lufkin Brittingham. She married Bob Casteel in 1974 in Galesburg, Illinois. She is survived by two sons: Steve (Rebecca) Casteel of Galesburg, Illinois and Mike (Mary) Casteel of Galesburg, Illinois; ten grandchildren: Stephanie, Marissa, Cody, Chase, Tyler, Haley Casteel, Kaylee, Kylee, Bryan, Julie and D.J. Pierson; one great-grandchild, Dominick Casteel; and one sister: Linda (Phil) Pesci of East Galesburg, Illinois and one brother, Donald R. (Sandra) Brittingham of Galesburg, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Alan. She worked as a caregiver taking of individual in the area and St. Mary’s Square in Galesburg, Illinois as a Team Leader. She enjoyed going to the Riverboat and taking care of her grandchildren. Cremation Rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the family.
