Shirley Walker, 91, of Denver, Iowa (formerly of Galesburg), passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Denver Sunset Home, Denver, Iowa.

Shirley was born on May 28, 1931. She was the daughter of Dale Roy and Margaret (Windom) May, Sr. She married the love of her life, Thomas Walker, Sr. on July 9, 1960 in Knoxville. Together they celebrated over 35 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on June 23, 1996. Surviving Shirley are her children, Timothy Walker of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Tammy Graham of Waverly, Iowa; her grandchildren, Britaney (Brett) Phillips of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Bailey (Dalton) Uhlenhopp of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Thomas Walker, Jr., grandson Bradey Walker, son-in-law, Jeffrey Graham and siblings, Roy May, Sr. and Dale May, Jr.

Shirley was a member of the Eastern Star, Motor Maids and Women on Wheels. She loved riding her Harley Motor Cycle and Betty Boop. Her Spunky spirit will be dearly missed.

Private family graveside services will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be left to Denver Sunset Home, Denver, Iowa or Cedar Valley Hospice, Waverly, Iowa.
