Sharon L. Zefo

Sharon L. Zefo, 78, of Lake Bracken, Illinois passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at 9:15 A.M. at Courtyard Estates in Knoxville, Illinois. Sharon was born February 26, 1938 in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Lyle and Mary Jean (Gardner) Sisty. She married Anthony Lee Zefo on March 17, 1987 in Oakley, Florida. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2015. She worked in the real estate industry for many years and was a member of the National Association of Realtors. She is survived by her children Carl Stroops III of South Elgin, Illinois and Ronald (Linda) Stroops of Galesburg, Illinois and her sister Pru Franey of Zephyrhills, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one son David Stroops. Visitation will be Monday, July 25 at 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded with the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor`s choice.
