Shannon L. Guidry

Shannon L. Guidry, 47, of St. Augustine, died at 4:21 P.M. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Shannon was born on January 4, 1970 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Barry and Barbara (Cassel) Sprout. Shannon attended and graduated from Farmington Central High School in 1988. She married Toby Guidry on December 1, 2005 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Shannon loved her granddaughter and her cat, Ike. She enjoyed tanning, dancing, and loved the beach and going on day trips with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Toby Guidry of St. Augustine; mother, Barbara Sprout of Galesburg, Illinois; children, Channse Sprout of Vinton, Louisiana, Lacie Piazza of St. Augustine, Illinois and Sylvia Mutton of Vinton, Louisiana; grandchildren, Ayden Sprout, Aniah Mutton, Kadence Piazza and Sophie Sprout; siblings, Barry Sprout Jr. of Douglas, Illinois, Jody (Richard) Booth of Elmwood, Illinois, Amanda Behymer of Galesburg, Illinois and her best friend, Norma Walsh of Avon, Illinois. Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Barry Sprout and one son, Christian Mutton. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Yates City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
