Robert G. Cozadd, Sr., age 90 of Wataga, Illinois died at 1:20 AM on Friday, April 29, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing Facility in Galesburg, Illinois. He was born on July 16, 1931 in London Mills, Illinois the son of Benjamin Franklin and Dorothy (Ford) Cozadd, He married Margaret L. Mazzocco on November 3, 1951 in Lewistown, Illinois. Surviving is his wife Margaret Cozadd of Wataga, Illinois; three sons, Bob (Bonnie) Cozadd, Jr., of Alexis, Illinois, Mike (Teresa) Cozadd of Wataga, Illinois, Rick (Cindy) Cozadd of Abingdon, Illinois; seven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Harold “Gene” (Barb) Cozadd of Galesburg, Illinois, and one sister, Elaine Smith of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Keith, one grandson Brad, two brothers, Chet and Paul, and two sisters, Helen and Charlotte. He worked for the former Briggs Manufacturing in Abingdon for forty-three years and worked for various farmers in the area. Then he owned and operated Cozadd Buildings from 1992 to 2014, constructing yard storage sheds. He loved woodworking and being with his family. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory, in Knoxville, Illinois have been entrusted with his arrangements.
