Micki Deppe, 60, of Galesburg, died on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her home. Micki was born on June 22, 1959 in Galesburg. She was the daughter of Richard Bruning and Dee (Rennicks) Williams. She married Mike Dunn on September 17, 1976 at the First Presbyterian Church, Galesburg. She later married Alan Deppe. Micki is survived by her partner in life, Mike Dunn; stepchild, Daryl Farber and step-granddaughter Alicia Farber; sister, Amy Vermost; brothers, Daryl (Gloria) Clayton, Cole (Debbie) Bruning; brother-in-law, Scott Deppe; aunts, Marylyn Catherdhal and Edith Whetstine; cousins, Jeanne, Joanne Wollever, Kenny Hutson, Lorie Hutson and Joan Meeker; her best friend and adopted sister, Sara Feighner; and many others who were important to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alan Deppe and sister Debbie McClure. Micki owned and operated a sandwich shop in Midland-Odessa, Texas. She also bartended and worked at Ayerco in Galesburg. She was of Presbyterian faith. Micki loved to draw, create floral arrangement and play tri-dominoes. She loved spending time with her family. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Micki’s life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020, 2:00 pm at 168 N. Pearl Street, Galesburg, Illinois. Micki’s ashes will be spread at Linwood Cemetery. Her name will be etched on the Memorial Wall along with Michael L. Dunn. Memorials may be made to the family.
