Mary Moak

Mary Moak, age 95, of Morton, Illinois, died at 6:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, Illinois. She was born on February 3, 1923 in Victoria, Illinois, the daughter of Vernon C. and Hazel M. (Olmsted) Moak. She was reared and educated in the Victoria area, graduating from Victoria Schools, and later Brown’s Business College. Mary is survived by one nephew, Rick Miles of Santee, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sterling Moak; one sister, Zella Miles; and her brother-in-law, Ralph Miles. She worked for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction for a number of years, later becoming employed as a secretary in the Medical Department of Caterpillar, Inc., where she worked for thirty-two years, until her retirement.
