Luann M. Rigg

Luann M. Rigg, 64, a longtime resident of Galesburg, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, 8:51 PM at Genesis Illini Medical Center, Silvis. Luann was born on April 8, 1957 in Galesburg. She was the daughter of Herbert E. Rigg and Patricia A. (Smith) Henshilwood. She is survived by her two brothers, John Rigg of Galesburg and Todd Henshilwood of Florida; a sister, Jeani K Yetz of Moline; a special grandson, Schuyler Mayes of Arizona; and close friends and family, who will miss her very much, especially her beloved cats and dog. Luann was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lori and a sister, Robin Gibson of Davenport. Luann completed three degrees from Carl Sandburg College and worked in those fields. She then worked at City Cab for years. She loved to knit, crochet, and read. She was an avid animal lover; her animals were her life. Cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned at this time. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
