Linda C. Neave

Linda C. Neave, age 77, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 2:4 P.M. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center, Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on July 28, 1944 in Albany, Missouri the daughter of Charles and Margery K. (Cline) Foster. She attended and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1963, and then attended Brown’s Business College. She married Allen D. Neave on February 22, 1969. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2018. Surviving is her son: J. Allen Neave, Sr., of rural Gilson, Illinois; two grandchildren: J. Allen Neave, Jr., of Galesburg, Illinois and Tegan J. Neave of Galesburg, Illinois; a sister, Rebecca “Becky” Howerter of Galesburg, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother. She owned various rental properties in the area; owned and operated the Wood Eagle Barn on US Highway 150 in rural Gilson, Illinois. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Trenton Cemetery in rural Dahinda, Illinois, with Deacon Michael Crummer officiating.
