Leatha Wood

Leatha Wood, 62, of Galesburg, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, 5:00 PM at Marigold Rehab and Healthcare Center, Galesburg.

Leatha was born on December 27, 1959 in Galesburg. She was the daughter of William “Roy” and Joyce (Johnson) Wallace. Surviving Leatha are her daughter, Kristie (Peter) Belesiotis of Cary, IL; father, William “Roy” Wallace of Knoxville; siblings, Jim Wallace, Shirley (Richard) Shores, Linda (David) Jones all of Knoxville and Kate (Richard) Hanson of Galesburg; and her two grandchildren, Kara and Alexander. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Leatha was a 1978 graduate of Knoxville High School.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family burial of cremated remains will be held at the Knoxville Cemetery Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice.
