Joyce E. Agans

Joyce E. Agans, 88, of Galesburg, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020, 2:33 AM at Seminary Manor, Galesburg. Joyce was born on January 19, 1932 in Macomb. She was the daughter of Guy and Carrie Van Ormer. Joyce is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca (James) Creasy of Galesburg, and Crystal (Cameron) Junkin of Fountain Hills, Arizona; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Deborah White; brother, George Van Ormer; and nephew John Van Ormer. Joyce grew up in Macomb, her love of Elvis music, Betty Boop, Marilyn Monroe and dancing will always be remembered. She was a meter maid with the City of Galesburg and later worked at Admirals. Cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted with Hurd-Hendrick Funeral Homes and Crematory, Knoxville.
