Johnny Eugene Johnson Jr., 8 weeks of age, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:45 P.M. at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria. Johnny was born June 19, 2017 at the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Johnny and Ashley (Miller) Johnson. He is survived by his parents; Johnny and Ashley Johnson of Monmouth, sister; Kamera Staub of Monmouth, grandparents; Patti Johnson of Galesburg, Brian and Lisa Miller of Monmouth, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Robert Eugene Johnson, cousin; Michael Taylor, great-grandparents; Norman Miller, Renata Miller, Charlotte Finley, John Johnson, Eloise Johnson, Florentine Bearce, and William Kenneth Bearce. A graveside funeral service will take place Monday, August 21, 2017 at 12:30 P.M. at the Haynes Cemetery in rural Delong, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be left to the family.
