Janice R. Hall, age 63, of East Galesburg, Illinois died at 6:30 A.M. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, Illinois. Janice was born on December 6, 1952 in Lake City, Iowa, the daughter of Francis and Mary Ann Smidt Kraft. She attended and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1971. She married Fred W. Hall, Jr on May 13, 1972 at the First Advent Church in Galesburg, Illinois. Surviving is her husband, Fred W. Hall, Jr. of East Galesburg, Illinois; one daughter, Leslie Martin of East Galesburg, Illinois; one grandson, Drew Martin of East Galesburg, Illinois; her siblings, Jackie Knuth of Galesburg, Illinois, Gerry (Rodger) Coon of Galesburg, Illinois, Kevin (Karen) Kraft of East Galesburg, Illinois; her sister-in-law, Bev (Bob) Duckwiler of Galesburg, Illinois and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. In 1978, she started working for the former Carhartt in Galesburg, Illinois retiring in 2006. She was the Radio Operator for the East Galesburg Fire Department for 25 years. She enjoyed playing Bunco, square Dancing with her husband and cake decorating. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sparta Hall in Wataga, Illinois. Cremation Rites will be accorded.
