Jackie P. Sullivan

Jackie P. Sullivan, age 69 of Knoxville, IL passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Seminary Manor in Galesburg, IL. She was born January 3, 1947 in Tupelo, MS the daughter of Joseph and Floye Williams Johnson. She attended and graduated from Moline High School, then received her LPN from Blackhawk Community College. She married James “Sully” Sullivan July 16, 1982 in Chicago, IL. Surviving is her husband, James “Sully” Sullivan of Knoxville, IL; her children: Deanna L. “Dee” (Lloyd) Moczarny of Galesburg, IL, Douglas B. Brown of North Carolina, Deborah (Darren) Thornton of Gautier, MS, James M. (Victoria) Sullivan of Galesburg, IL, and Sean Sullivan of Schererville, IN; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her siblings: Deborah L. (Mark) Lang of Rock Island, IL and Paul E. Johnson of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. She worked as a LPN in the Chicago area, then retiring to Knoxville, IL. She enjoyed reading, listening to her 50’s and 60’s music, and working in her yard. She loved her family and her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Hurd-Hendricks Fellowship Center in Knoxville, IL. Memorials May be made to the American Cancer Society.
