Harriette Ann (Dyer) Mohr, 88, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, IL. Harriette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B Mohr. Bob and Harriette had four children. Sue Ehart (California), Ruth North (Arizona), Roger Mohr (Illinois) and Shara Sala (Oregon), eleven grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

 Harriette was born in Galesburg, Illinois October 6, 1933. Her parents were Thomas J. and Pauline Dyer. She was raised in Knox County and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1952. Out of high school, Harriette went to Washington DC to be a secretary for the FBI. She loved to explore new places. San Antonio was another fond memory. Harriette lived across the USA. She was an independent spirit with a love of music, reading and writing. Harriette attended Pima College in Tucson, AZ and Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL. She was a secretary, insurance agent, and early childhood teacher. Harriette was proud of her family and enjoyed researching genealogy. She enjoyed the extended family across Knox County and was happy to return to Galesburg upon retirement.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, Illinois. Inurnment will be at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, Illinois. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
