Harold A. Wagher, 74, of Dahinda, Illinois passed away at his home, Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 9:15 P.M. Harold was born September 13, 1942 in Galesburg, Illinois the son of Floyd and Rosemary (Horton) Wagher. After graduating from Williamsfield High School, he joined the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. He married Mary Seward on October 17, 1970 in Dahinda. Harold worked as a construction worker and as a carpenter. He served his community as a volunteer Fireman for 42 years for the Williamsfield Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking. Harold especially loved all of his grandchildren. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Wagher, of Dahinda, 3 daughters; Margaret Stoneking of Huntsville, Alabama, Alice (and Clayton) Downard of Cameron, Illinois, Sheryl (and Lupe) Rodriguez of Galesburg, 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 1 brother; Dale Wagher of Knoxville, and 4 sisters; Darlene Fisher, of Galesburg, Jean Harding, of Galesburg, Priscella Rose, of Easton, Illinois, and Kathryn O’Brien, of Highland, California. Harold was preceded in death by his 3 sons; Anthony, LeRoy, and Edward, and also his parents; Floyd and Rosemary Wagher. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville. The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 10:00 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville. Interment will be at the Trenton Cemetery, rural Dahinda. Rev.
