Grant Stephen Bunting, age 49, of Colorado Springs, Colorado died peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Colorado Springs.
In life, Grant was kind, had a generous heart and a gregarious, magnetic personality. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing, as well as spending time with his family and a large circle of friends. He was a diehard Chicago Bears, Las Vegas Raiders, and NASCAR fan. His children: Connor Winscott, Nevaeh Bunting, and Miles Grant Bunting were his pride and the center of his greatest experiences in life. He will be deeply missed by them, as well as his brother Mark Bunting of Yorkville, IL, his father Ralph Bunting of Prescott, AZ, Uncle Ross and Aunt Judy Bunting of Hendersonville, NC, Uncle Richard and Aunt Mary Beth Weeks, of Homer Glen, IL, Aunt Jan Weeks, of Evanston, IL, cousins, Eric Weeks, and Katy (Weeks) Bateman, and many friends from Colorado, Illinois, and all around the country.
Grant was born on September 24, 1972 in Detroit, MI, the son of Ralph and Judith (Weeks) Bunting (deceased). He attended Naperville Central High School, Naperville, IL, the class of 1991 and Lincoln Community College in Lincoln, Illinois. He went on to work as a Geomatics Technician.
