George W Rohrhuber, 84, of Dahinda, IL, passed away peacefully on October 11th with family by his side.
George was born on September 20th 1939, to the late George and Mary Rohrhuber in Chicago. He graduated from East Leyden High School and served in the 82nd Airborne Division.
George worked at Mars Candy in Chicago where he met and fell in love with Eva (Vesterli). They were married in 1964 and went on to have 3 daughters Deanne Markos (Paul), Carri Loresch (Michael) and Amy Casella (Rocco). Loving brother of Sue Dixon (Vern) and Joyce Mahalas (Roy). Doting Grandpa of Christian, Elysia "Ellie", Lauren and Ioannes "Johnny". Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews from the USA and Norway.
George retired from Midwesco in Niles as a HVAC Draftsman and moved to Oak Run in Dahinda to enjoy lake life. George loved fishing and was an avid golfer. He had a wicked sense of humor and an infectious personality. He will be dearly missed.
