Fredrick D. "Freddie" Huber

Fredrick “Freddie” D. Huber, age 77, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 4:35 A.M. at the Saint Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. Freddie was born on August 9, 1942 in Dahinda, Illinois, the son of Ora Huber and Barbara Butts. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Freddie married Sandra Bird in 1976 and later remarried Sandra on July 8, 2016. He was an over the road truck driver for over thirty-two years. Freddie was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Huber of Galesburg; son, Thomas A. Huber of Ohio; step-son, Eric N. Young of Sherrard, Illinois; three grandchildren: Keltora Huber, Jacob Young, Allison Young; two sisters: Garnal Huber of Galesburg, and Deborah Boydstun of Galesburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three siblings: Dory Seabloom, Steve Huber, and Bruce Hoyt. Cremation rites will be accorded with the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
