Ellen Eileen Daniels

Ellen Eileen Daniels, age 89, of Williamsfield, Illinois, died at 3:13 P.M. on February 2, 2018, at the Heartland Healthcare Center in Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on September 4, 1928 in rural Williamsfield, Illinois, the daughter of Clyde A. and Golda M. (Lumberry) Yelm. She married Harold L. Daniels on November 12, 1949 in Knoxville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2009. Ellen is survived by her siblings: Delores Heflin of Williamsfield, Illinois, Lois (Jack) Stodgel of Galesburg, Illinois, Merle Edward (Jane) Yelm of Williamsfield, Illinois, and William (Lori) Yelm of Percy, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sibling: Dorance. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Williamsfield Cemetery, Rev. Jennifer Seder officiating. Interment will be at the Williamsfield Cemetery in Williamsfield, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsfield Legion.
