Earl Motz

Earl Motz, 78, of Galesburg, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, 9:30 PM at ProMedica Skilled Nursing, Galesburg. Earl was born on February 8, 1944 in Victoria. He was the son of Carl R. and Glenna M. (Wilmot) Motz. He married the love of his life, Ruth Ann Olson, on February 7, 2022. Together they celebrated a life of 25 years. Earl is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Ann; sister, Mae Heck; and several grandchildren great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Earl attended ROVA schools. He worked at Gates Rubber until his retirement. Earl loved woodworking, and was a carpenter. He enjoyed going for drives and in his younger years, he liked to go hunting.
