Donna Louise Stancomb

Donna Louise Stancomb, 83, of Knoxville, passed away at home on Friday, March 19, 2021, 12:18 PM. Donna was born on November 7, 1937 in Knox County, IL. She was the daughter of Harold and Louise (Stewart) Craig. She married Bill Stancomb on December 21, 2002 in East Galesburg. Donna is survived by her husband, Bill; children Jimmy Kenney of North Henderson, Brian (Diane) Kenney of Woodbridge, VA and Karen Molet of Englewood, OH; siblings, Barb Harrison of Viola, and Carl Craig of Galesburg; two grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Kenney of Stafford, VA and Heather Kenney of Fredericksburg, VA; and a great grandson, Ethan. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donny; and two sisters, Pat Leonard and Janet Knuth. Donna attended Knoxville schools. She was a cook for the Lantern Restaurant and then she cooked at George’s for 22 years until she retired. She was a member of the Galesburg Moose Lodge. Donna loved to crochet and craft. She was a true sweet heart, always kind and compassionate, and willing to give a helping hand when needed. Donna was a loving mother and cherished spending time with her family. Cremation rites will be accorded. A private family burial of cremated remains will be held at the Trenton Cemetery.
