Charles S. Lanier, 65, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 5:14 P.M. Monday, September 26, 2016 at his home. He was born on October 21, 1950 in Beardstown, Illinois the son of Luther and Donna (Simmons) Lanier. Charles attended and graduated from Galesburg High School. Charles worked as a Railroad Conductor for BNSF and later for the Galesburg Lowe’s. Charlies is survived by two daughters, Katrina and Melinda; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Lanier; Cremation rites will be accorded with the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois.
