Bonnie L. Mitchell

Bonnie L. Mitchell, 87, formerly of Maquon IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, 4:50 PM, at Marigold Rehab and Healthcare Center, Galesburg. Bonnie was born on April 26, 1932 in Maquon. She was the daughter of Ruth and Floyd Thomas. She married James L. Mitchell on June 27, 1950 in Maquon. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on February 5, 2018. Bonnie is survived by her children, Linda Kelly of Broken Arrow, OK, Ronda Mitchell of St. Charles, MO and Teena Mitchell of Galesburg; and a grandson, Samuel James Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bonnie was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Nothing was more important to her then taking care of her family. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family burial of cremated remains will be held at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.
