Bettie Lou Cramer

Bettie Lue Cramer age 94, passed away March 13, 2016 at 2:35 P.M. at Knox County Nursing Home. Bettie was born in Warren County September 4, 1921 the daughter of Harry and Mildred Stone Burford. She married Ralph E. Cramer September 20, 1940, they were married 58 years. Ralph passed away in 1998. She is survived by her sister Marjorie Mudd of Mt. Vernon, IL, two daughters, Karen (Jim) Tarochione of Knoxville, and Judith Ramirez of Crossville, TN. Six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Bettie and Ralph farmed most of their married life and Betty retired from Sears in Galesburg. They enjoyed “parading” their Model T car; traveling in their motor home, and especially dancing. Bettie loved antique shopping, jewelry and shopping. The family wishes to thank Knox County Nursing Home for their wonderful and compassionate care and Hospice Compassus for their love and support. Cremation rites will be accorded with the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Per Bettie’s wishes there will be no services.
