Barry Huff

Barry Huff, 83, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.

Barry was born on May 22, 1940 in Galesburg. He was the son of Chuck and Marjorie (Kirkland) Huff. Barry married Nancy Johnson in 1965 in Galesburg. Together they celebrated 58 years of marriage. Barry is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, at home; children, Jay Huff, Julie Clark, Barry Huff, Jerry Huff, all of Galesburg and Jill Huff of Cameron; grandchildren, Stacey Huff, Nicholas Tiehn, Kyle Clark, Kendra Clark, Lacy Smith, Sadie Huff, Jayson Huff, Justin Huff and Jacob Huff; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cherie Moses of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Barry was a graduate of Galesburg High School. He was an Engineer for the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed model railroading and exercising. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned at this time. A private burial of cremated remains will be at the Knoxville Cemetery.
