Audrey K. Bruning, 66, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 6:10 A.M. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Marigold Rehabilitation and Health Care in Galesburg, Illinois. Audrey was born on October 20, 1950, the daughter of William and Ella (Jud) Vancil in Galesburg, Illinois. She married Richard Bruning on June 8, 2002 at Lake Calhoun in LaFayette, Illinois. He preceded her in death. Audrey enjoyed being a homemaker. She is survived by he children, Lisa (Shawn) Stephens of Galesburg, Illinois and David (Jamie) Jones of Oneida, Illinois; six grandchildren, Amber and David Stephens, Aleesha, Alivia, Ava, and Alexa Jones; two great-grandchildren, Austin Qualls and Kenneth Stephens; one sister, Gay Burgess, and several nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Marcus. Audrey was gifted to the University Of Iowa Carver College Of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa.
