Alvaree Evangaline Motz, age 77, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her home. She was born on November 17, 1938 in LaJunta, Colorado, the daughter of Carl and Jesse Moore Dutton. She married Donald LaVerne Motz on November 30, 1956 in Galesburg, Illinois. Alvaree is survived by her husband; Donald Motz of Galesburg, Illinois, 5 children; Daniel (Lisa) Motz of Galesburg, Illinois, Rodney Motz of Galesburg, Illinois, Linda Sue (Jack) Swanson of Canton, Illinois, Donald (Toni) Motz of Wataga, Illinois, and Jason (Jackie) Motz of Gilson, Illinois, 7 grandchildren; Travis, Corie, Mallory, Colton, Jalyn, Jenna, and Jack Jr., 5 great-grandchildren, her brother, Donnie Dutton, special niece Marsha Jackson of Galesburg, Illinois and special nephew Frank Dutton Jr. of Wataga, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jesse Dutton, and her siblings, William Dutton, Frank Dutton, Thomas Dutton, and Joseph Dutton. She was a homemaker and worked at the former P.E.O Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Alvaree loved to spend time with her grandchildren, gardening, canning, and anything involving being outdoors. Cremation rites will be accorded with the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Wataga Cemetery in Wataga, Illinois.
