Allen "Alan" Wayne Moore

Allen "Alan" Wayne Moore, 34, of Toulon, Illinois passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 9:41 PM at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. He was born March 17, 1983 in Rushville, Illinois, the son of Todd and Rhonda (Koepp) Moore. He graduated from Williamsfield High School with the Class of 2002. He later graduated from Illinois Central College. He married Candice Dickerson on May 6, 2017 in Toulon. Allen is survived by his wife, Candice Moore of Toulon, and his 2 children Alexa "Lexi" and Brayden. He is also survived by his parents, Todd and Rhonda Moore of Williamsfield, 1 brother, Robert (and Lauren) Moore of Princeville, 1 sister, Rachel (and Ryan Fowler) Moore of Williamsfield, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Allen was a wonderful father. He loved spending time playing with his children. He also enjoyed cruising the local roads, fishing, hunting, rooting for the Chicago Cubs, and being with friends and family. Allen never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his smile, sarcastic humor, and heart of gold. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williamsfield United Methodist Church. The funeral service will begin directly following the visitation at 12:00 PM. Rev. Jenifer Seder will be officiating the services. A memorial fellowship will be at held after the services at the Williamsfield American Legion. The family requests that those attending the services dress casually.
