A Marilyn Pearson, age 83, of rural Woodhull, died at 2:45 A.M. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at her home in rural Woodhull, Illinois. She was born on July 27, 1932 in Gilson, Illinois the daughter of Harold and Gladys Snell Cramer. She married Harley Pearson on August 22, 1953 at United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2006. Surviving is one son, Mark Pearson of Woodhull, Illinois; one daughter, Cindy (Phil Lorenz) Pearson of Tequesta, Florida; two grandchildren: Josh Pearson of Stuart, Florida and Amber (Seth) Malcolm of Troy, Illinois; one great-grandson, Oliver Malcolm of Troy, Illinois; one sister, Helen (Gene) Eklund of Knoxville, Illinois; one brother, Ray (Molly) Cramer of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Ed Cramer. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church of Woodhull, Illinois. She was known for her sense of humor and positive energy. She was a storybook mother. She loved her family dearly. A true loving soul. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Altona, Illinois. Rev. Nancy Jaster will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Tri-County Ambulance or to the ALS Foundation. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
