Carl Lee Arkema

Carl Lee Arkema, age 70, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 10:25 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the OSF Saint Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. He was born on August 4, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Rev. Louis P. and Stella (Falk) Arkema. He was reared and educated in Illinois, later enlisting in the United States Air Force and proudly serving his country. After graduating from college, Carl went on to work in the health care industry for many years. Surviving are three cousins: Carol J. Thompson, Margaret. L. Bateman, Marian C. Rossetto; and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time.
