Biography

Wilma Folger, 84, of Knoxville, Illinois passed away at her residence on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.

Wilma was born the daughter of Abe and Myrtle Hannah on August 19, 1927 in Duke Oklahoma. After graduating high school she married Willis E. Folger on May 25, 1946 in Altus, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1995.

She is survived by her son Larry (Judy) Folger of Galesburg, Illinois, sister Yvonne Warriner of Holdenville, Oklahoma, daughter in law Connie Folger of Galesburg, Illinois, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Gary Folger and 3 brothers.

She was a member of the Knoxville Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed crocheting, fishing and playing 4-point pitch. She also loved her dogs.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Visitation will be held one hour before. A graveside service will take place at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
