The staff at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory takes great pride in offering the community the most professional cremation service in the area.   

We are proud to be the only funeral home in Knox, Warren and Henry County to have an on-site crematory.  This means that while other funeral homes have to use a third party crematory an hour away, we are the only funeral home that can promise your family that your loved one never leaves our care and facilities. 

CONSUMER CREMATORY DUE DILIGENCE

1. Ask the Funeral Home Director where the Cremation is perforned. Ask for the address of the Crematory and how far it is.
2. Ask to meet the Crematory Personnel who will be handling your loved one.
3. Be sure to notice the Crematory name and address on the Cremation paperwork you fill out.

Make sure the Crematory is maintained properly and is clean, ask to see the Crematory and have a tour of the Facilities. The Crematory personnel should be able to answer any questions you have.

None of the Funeral Homes in the Galesburg area use the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home Crematory, therefore we are the only Funeral Home in area that perform cremations in-house. The other Funeral Homes use the Crematories in Peoria, Illinois or in the Quad Cities, Illinois.
